Developing The Self And The Sites

I’ve found that there are some pretty handy educational podcasts available. “Drive It - Convert It” gives a lot of great information about search engine optimization, site tuning, and marketing strategies for a website. I have a huge pile of casts downloaded now and I’m sure I’ll mention any of them that are worth listening to.
I learned some handy tricks with Drupal today, mainly how to generate search engine friendly URLs and more ways to organize content. I have another site that should go live in a few days.
I posted a bunch of material on fictionclassics.com - “Tarzan of the Apes”, “The Land That Time Forgot”, “Heart of Darkness”, and “Anthem”. I think I should probably spend a little less time there because a lot of the other things I’m working on have a lot more potential.
My Yahoo ads for APW have started running and I have 1200 impressions with a single click. It looks like I need to write some better copy, even though the market I’m targeting isn’t exactly well-known for its ability to be advertised to. The Google ad stats haven’t updated lately, so it has either stalled or they have some really bizarre server update times.
I spent the evening going to see Dragonforce and Chimaira with the g/f. It’s interesting to see that heavy metal hasn’t changed one bit in more than a decade. It’s “The Genre That Time Forgot”.
