Is The Internet Full Yet?

Today I added a bunch of manuals to soundprogramming.net and wrote the first of a multi-part tutorial on the ALSA programming API (used to write audio programs for Linux). I’ve been feeling kind of weird about not having any sound programming tutorials posted on soundprogramming.net since the original purpose of the site was to host tutorials on sound programming and related information.
I also registered for text-link-ads and submitted some of my sites for their ad network. All were declined. Apparently they only take sites that have a pagerank of at least 4, and my two best sites - zetacentauri.com and allpossibleworlds.net have a pagerank of 3.
I’ve added another page to the blog - “Monetize Your Website”. It has links to different ad networks. I’ll add to it as I register and/or try other ad networks.
As for the All Possible Worlds ads, I mentioned in an earlier post I was running ads on both Google Adsense and the Yahoo Publisher Network. I said that I liked the Google interface better, but it’s turning out that Yahoo’s interface is actually functionally better. It takes fewer clicks to get the information I want and they don’t display incorrect information by default like Google does. It’s still early, so we’ll see who ends up being better.
