After much research I’ve signed up for an autoresponder service called Aweber.  An autoresponder service is like a mailing list management service, but it lets you create automated sequences of emails and targeted email campaigns.  There are a lot of bells and whistles in Aweber, including the ability to parse Paypal emails in order to do thinks like email a PDF if someone bought an eBook, or automatically add a customer to your email list, or to send a thank you letter, etc.  I think I’ll be able to get some good use out of it.

You probably haven’t seen my office, since I haven’t shown it to anyone, but I’m surrounded by LOTS of synthesizers.  Towering piles of them.  I have to wade through them in order to get anywhere.  I just listed a few on eBay and will be listing more over the next week.  Seriously, I have 18 of them - 14 rackmounts and 4 keyboards.  Is that overkill?  Yes, especially since I’ve really only played two of them in the past year.

Today hasn’t been a very productive day, mostly just spring yardwork.  At least I’m done with that until next year.
