Of the five distributors I’ve contacted I’ve heard back from two.  Luckily it’s the most important two: Disticor and Ingram Periodicals.

I’ve just sent off my registration packet along with a check for $250 to Ingram for their registration/listing fee (highway robbery if you ask me, but let’s call it an investment).  Disticor doesn’t require any sort of fee.

I think the next issue is going to come out too soon to get distribution for them, but starting with #3 there should be quite a bit more copies circulating.

I’m also rethinking the idea of making Vortex Temporum electronic-only.  I was thinking e-pub for the lower startup costs, but now that I know a bit more than I did a couple months ago it makes sense to just swallow the razor-pill and do what it takes to make it print + electronic.
