Today I posted the 150th work of fiction on fictionclassics.com. I haven’t been spending much time on the site, but over the past few months I’ve been gradually/occasionally posting material.

I’ve just broken the 100-work mark on Fictionclassics.com. The site’s been up for 67 weeks, so I’ve average 1.5 works per week.
The site doesn’t get much traffic, but it is fun to work on now and then.

October was the best month I’ve had yet for Adsense earnings, posting 36% over the previous two months’ averages.  Although that amount still is just barely enough to cover hosting and domain expenses and is less than 2% of living expenses, it’s still encouraging to see such an increase.
Since traffic has only increased by 16%, […]

Welcome to Joomla!

Most of the websites that I’ve put up, like freewavesamples.com, soundprogramming.net, fictionclassics.com, leftistblogs.com, and dollarcalc.com have been created using the Drupal content management system.
For a change of scenery just as much as for the sake of learning another CMS, the two latest domains I’ve picked up, findmud.com and csharpness.com (don’t bother clicking — there’s no […]

I love Drupal. After all, I run almost all of my websites with it.
However, it’s a HUGE PAIN IN THE ARSE if you want to do anything custom — as in anything that falls outside the list of standard modifications, modules, and themes.
I’m not sure whether it’s a case of too little documentation or […]

Throughout the past six months, especially in March, I’ve been on something of a buying spree for domains.  I’ve done quite a lot of brainstorming, and in the process I’ve bought every domain that seemed like a good idea to me.  As of this moment I own 47 domains.  That’s far too many to develop […]

I’ve been working on making some deals with pulp magazine publishers to get some stock into PulpSource. So far everyone I’ve chatted with (via email) has been pretty open to the idea of opening an online small press magazine (and eventually book) shop. I’ve even had more than one offer of ad exchanges […]
